Q. How do I attend the session and are they in person?

A. All of my sessions are done over video on Zoom. You'll receive a link to join your session in the confirmation email you’ll receive as soon as you book. I don't tend to do in person sessions as I don't feel I get any better results than over video and I can keep my prices more affordable and help more people across the country this way. 

 

Q. What do I need to do before my session?

A. All I need from you is to send me a photo of the animals you’d like to connect with to info@shannaparker.com. It's also a great idea to be putting thought into and making a list of questions or topics you'd like to be sure we cover in our session. I do send out an email the week prior to your session with lots more info to help you be prepared so make sure to watch for that and let me know if you don’t receive it.

 

Q. Can I do a combined session with both live and passed animals?

A. Yes!! We can use the time during your session in whatever way you'd like with multiple animals, alive or in spirit. 

 

Q. How soon after my animal has passed can I book a session?

A. There's no set time frame that is best. I have had good success as soon as a few days after passing and I have had some that needed several weeks. Which time frame is best is very often determined by you, the human, since if you are processing profound grief or guilt, it can hinder the connection as you may not be ready to hear the things the animal has to tell you. I suggest waiting until you feel you are ready to receive anything and everything that may come from the animal. If you have doubts, usually 2-3 weeks after the animal has passed is a safe time to book.

 

Q. How much time do I need to book?

A. A 30 minute session is typically perfect to do a full reading with one animal but you can also do a very quick wellness check with one animal in 15 minutes or with two animals in 30 minutes. If you're dealing with very complicated issues or want to go very in depth, you may want to book up to 45 minutes or an hour for one pet. If you have questions about how much time to schedule, you can always book a free 15 minute consultation to figure out exactly how much time you would need to achieve your goals for the session.

Q. In what ways do animals send messages?

A. My most common way of receiving messages is in the form of seeing pictures or feeling emotions. I do also often feel physical sensations, hear words or phrases, or just find myself having an understanding of what they want to communicate but it's usually pictures and emotions. Because of this, I will often ask you as the owner to help me decipher what the messages mean since I don't know the pet. For example, I once asked a dog what his favorite thing to do was and all I saw was bubbles. That didn't mean anything to me, but the owner knew the dog was referring to his bubble machine as he loved chasing the bubbles!

Q. Can my partner or other friend/loved one be present for the session or can it be recorded?

A. Yes and yes! All I ask if multiple people attend that everyone refrain from talking in the moments when I’m communicating with the pet as it can interfere with my ability to receive the messages clearly.

 

Q. Are there times the animals don't want to connect or you can't receive messages? A. Yep! It's not common but there have been times I've struggled to help someone in the way I would like to. It could be the animal's higher self doesn't want to participate, it could be I'm not the right one to deliver the messages the animal wants you to receive, it could be we aren’t a vibrational match, or, it could even be that it's not the right time for you to receive them. If this happens, I simply refund your payment.

Q. What kinds of animals can be communicated with?

A. Any animals that belong to you or that you have a relationship with. I have had great success with dogs, cats, horses, pigs, birds, exotics, and even reptiles!

Q. Do you require payment up front?

A. Yes, I do require pre-payment to secure your spot in my schedule.

 

Q.What about your cancellation/no-show policy?

A.I do allow cancellations or rescheduling up to 24 hours before your appointment. I do also understand that emergencies within the 24 hour window can happen and I will kindly reschedule your appointment if I am notified of said emergency within 2 hours of your appointment. I do not refund or reschedule for no-shows since I do a lot of prep work before each session to make sure I’m mentally ready to give you my full focus and energy. I consider the following to be a no-show: More than 5 minutes late for a 15 minute appointment, more than 10 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment, or more than 15 minutes late for a 45 or 60 minute appointment.
