Animal Communication For Living Pets
Your pet has a unique personality, perspective, and way of experiencing the world. Animal communication offers an opportunity to better understand what your pet may be feeling, experiencing, or trying to communicate with you.
I’m Shanna Parker, an animal communicator and animal intuitive. I work with people who want to deepen the connection they share with their animals, explore behavioral or emotional concerns, and better understand their pet’s needs and perspective.
Sessions are conducted remotely over Zoom, so you and your pet can remain comfortable at home while we connect.
What Is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is an intuitive process of connecting with an animal and receiving impressions or information that I then share with you.
The information I receive can come in different ways. I may see images, feel emotions or physical sensations, hear words or phrases, or simply have an inner sense or understanding of what the animal is communicating.
Because I don’t know your pet’s history the way you do, sometimes we work together to understand what a particular image or message means. That collaboration can help bring context to the information I receive and make the session more meaningful.
People use several different terms for this type of work, including animal communicator, pet communicator, pet psychic, animal psychic, animal intuitive, and sometimes animal whisperer. While practitioners may approach the work differently, these terms are often used by people looking for a way to better understand and connect with their animals.
How Can Animal Communication Help?
Every animal and every relationship is different. People come to an animal communication session for many reasons.
Better Understand Behavior
If your pet has developed a behavior that leaves you confused or concerned, animal communication may offer another perspective on what they are experiencing.
A session can give you an opportunity to explore the situation from your animal’s point of view and ask questions about changes in their environment, routines, relationships, or preferences.
Understand Your Pet’s Needs and Preferences
Sometimes we simply want to know more. What does your pet enjoy most? Is there something they would like you to understand? How do they feel about changes in the household? What makes them feel comfortable or secure?
Animal communication can create space to explore these kinds of questions directly with your pet.
Strengthen the Bond You Share
You don’t need to have a problem to schedule a session. Many people simply want a deeper understanding of the animal they love. Learning more about your pet’s personality, preferences, and perspective can create an even stronger sense of connection and appreciation for the relationship you share.
Navigate Changes and Transitions
Animals experience changes alongside us. Moves, new family members, new animals in the home, schedule changes, travel, aging, and other transitions can affect the entire household.
An animal communication session can provide an opportunity to explore how your pet is experiencing those changes and what may help them feel supported.
Dogs, Cats, Horses and Other Animals
Animal communication is not limited to one type of pet. I have worked with many different animals, including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, birds, exotic animals, and reptiles.
Whether you found this page while searching for a dog communicator, cat communicator, horse communicator, pet psychic, or simply someone who can help you better understand an animal you love, the intention is the same: creating a compassionate space to listen to what your animal may want to share.
Looking for an Animal Communicator Near You?
You may have searched for an “animal communicator near me” or “pet psychic near me” and wondered whether your animal needs to be physically present with the communicator.
My sessions are conducted remotely by Zoom. Your pet does not need to travel anywhere, and I do not need to be physically present in your home. This allows me to work with clients and their animals throughout the United States while you and your pet remain in your familiar environment.
Before your appointment, you’ll send me a photo of the animal or animals you would like to connect with. You can also prepare questions or topics you would like to explore during our time together. Learn how to prepare for your session
What Happens During an Animal Communication Session?
Your session takes place over Zoom. Once we begin, I focus on connecting intuitively with your animal and sharing the information, images, feelings, words, or impressions I receive.
You are part of the conversation throughout the session. I may ask you whether something I receive has meaning to you, and you can ask questions you would like me to explore with your pet.
Sessions can be used for one animal or multiple animals depending on the amount of time you schedule and what you would like to cover.
Animal communication is intended to complement—not replace—appropriate veterinary care. Medical diagnosis and treatment should always be handled by a qualified veterinarian.
Animal Communicator, Pet Psychic or Animal Whisperer?
There isn’t one term everyone uses for intuitive communication with animals.
Some people search for an animal communicator or pet communicator. Others use pet psychic or animal psychic. You may also hear terms such as animal intuitive or animal whisperer.
For my work, I primarily use animal communicator because my intention is to connect directly with the animal and share the impressions and messages I receive.
Whatever terminology brought you here, the important question is whether this type of session feels like the right way for you to explore a deeper connection with your pet.
Frequently Asked Questions About Animal Communication
Does animal communication work remotely?
Yes. My animal communication sessions are conducted remotely over Zoom, so you and your pet can participate from home. I do not find it necessary for the animal and me to be physically in the same location for me to do this work.
Does my pet need to be on the Zoom call?
No. Your pet is welcome to be nearby, but they do not need to sit in front of the camera or participate in any particular way.
What kinds of animals can you communicate with?
I work with many different types of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, birds, exotic animals, and reptiles. The animal should belong to you or be an animal with whom you have or have had a relationship.
Can I ask my pet specific questions?
Absolutely. Before your appointment, it is helpful to think about the questions or topics that are most important to you. You can bring those questions into the session and we can explore them together.
What if you aren't able to connect with my animal?
Although it is uncommon, there are times when I may struggle to establish the type of connection I want for a session. If that happens, we can determine whether trying again another day makes sense or I will refund your payment. I want you to feel good about the experience and the value you receive from our time together. Read more Animal Communication & Pet Mediumship FAQs
